you know, right before he was killed he came down to Selma and said some pretty passionate things against me, and that surprised me because after all it was my territory there.
but afterwards he took my wife aside, and said he thought he could help me more by attacking me than praising me.
he thought it would make it easier for me in the long run.

I’m glad I took the time to see your post, cause these portraits are just fantastic. Unless it’s a specific choice you made, I’d suggest resizing these files: full-resolution images take lots of time to load and may dissuade someone from waiting for the page to be completely loaded (which would be a shame, as they are really really good photos).
Hi there! Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply and I’m so glad you liked these portraits. This man is my neighbor and a pretty amazon person. Do you have suggestions for the “perfect” web specs? I thought these were 71 dpi but then maybe to large? This is something I’m struggling with so would appreciate your thoughts!
Hallie
Lucky you to have such a photogenic neighbour! As for the picture size, it’s the physical size (width and height of the image, in pixels) that you may consider reducing. Now each photo is as big as it came out of the camera. If you want to make them easy to load from the net but still good to look at, you should scale them down so that their long side is for example 900 or 1000 pixels, at 80 – 90 dpi. They’ll be nice on our screens and quick to visualise
